Leading full-service digital performance marketing agency specialising in b2b technology seeks a highly talented Account Director to join their rapidly growing team.

Our client proudly works with major household brands, as well as delivering campaigns for a range of start up’s and scale up’s, the thing that all of their clients have in common is a focus on sustainable growth and ROI. Their key services are Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate marketing and programmatic display.

The Account Director (AD) plays an integral role in the agency’s sales organisation; they work alongside the Digital Marketing Consultants (DMC’s). The AD manages the whole account management cycle, from on boarding a new client, to campaign analysis and contract renewal. They are responsible for analysing and troubleshooting campaigns, as well as creating and nurturing deep relationships with clients.

ADs hold large amounts of revenue, and it is their responsibility to retain and grow this client base.

Key responsibilities – Account Director (AD’S)

·Ensure campaigns are entered in a timely manner and set up to achieve the highest level of performance. Analyse market situation and ensure campaign is set up in line with advertiser requested focus and expectations. Create on target keyword lists & ad group structures, as well as compelling text ads.

·Ensure total book remains running & identify any potential dropped campaign issues. Work to improve client retention & increase total book. Identify churn trends and share with DMC in order to highlight areas to be worked on in the future. Ensure campaign spend rates are in line with contracted agreed amounts.

·Analysing campaigns and identifying any positive or negative trends occurring within a campaign. Predict campaign results and manipulate structure in order to make campaign most effective. Analyse campaign metrics and identify problem areas within campaigns. Action tickets required as solutions to campaign issues.

·Working with the design team on landing pages, websites and creatives. Optimising the pages design to drive maximum conversion rates for clients return on ad spend.

·Keep in regular contact with advertisers to discuss campaign performance, expectations, and steps to help advertisers grow their business. Nurture relationships so that advertiser relates to AD as an online marketing consultant.

·Identify areas within campaigns where there is scope to upsell or cross sell the advertiser. Conduct sales meetings to encourage advertiser to take up proposed solution

·Assist DMC with business intelligence and strategy. Assist DMC with presales research.

Profile – Account Director

·At least 5 years’ experience working within paid media – Strong paid social and some strong search too.

·Experience with Google Shopping & Amazon Marketplace

·Experience in paid Facebook advertising and advanced Power Editor skills

·Demonstrates a high level of passion for paid media and has a client first approach

·Keen to collaborate and contribute with a team in a lively and fast growing start up

·A strong interest in working within the SMB market

·A sound working understanding of bid management tools ( e.g. Marin)

·An excellent working attitude with an ability to work well in teams and independently

·Superior communication and copyright skills

·Strong analytical and reporting skills

·Excellent stakeholder management skills

·Google AdWords Certification
