We have a client in the Great Barr area of Birmingham looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their office based team.
Our client is a national supplier of fresh fish to the catering industry, the client base ranges from small independents to large national accounts.

The job role is customer focused and will involve –
* Growing Existing Accounts
* Developing New Accounts
* Meeting Sales Targets
* Processing Orders
* Diary Management
* Effective use of all Sales Analysis
* Prospecting New Business, Including Cold Calls
* Developing Relationships with the Business Development Managers
Candidates applying for this role should have previous sales experience preferably within foodservice (Fish and Seafood experience is preferable but not essential). You should be personable with a proven ability to work in a targeted sales environment.

Whilst sales experience for this role is preferred our client aims to develop all of their employees potential, new starters are inducted on a Sales Academy with ongoing learning and support provided.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm. You will also be required to work one Saturday per month from 9.30am – 12.30pm for which you will be paid overtime. You will get 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Salary – £16,500 – £21,500 DOE + Bonus Package
