We currently have a vacancy for an Apprentice Training Manager at our site in Scotstoun, Glasgow.

As an Apprentice Training Manager, you will be managing the development, delivery and quality assurance of our apprenticeship programmes, inspiring a culture of continuous improvement, delivery of service excellence and alignment to Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ or SDS ‘Excellence’ criteria.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the design and set up of a new training academy.

Your main responsibilities as an Apprentice Training Manager will involve:

Leading all quality and compliance aspects of the Apprenticeship provision.

Leading all safety, safeguarding and welfare aspects of the Apprenticeship provision.

Effective leadership of a team of Development Leaders/ Coaches

Providing and interpreting accurate management data to effectively monitor performance against set KPIs, with a focus on ensuring timely performance and quality improvement interventions.

Ensuring that Individual Learner Records/Individual Learning Plans are maintained in accordance with the current funding rules and regulations.

Managing the relationship with the Business and key Functions (such as Operations, Engineering & PM functions) to ensure delivery solutions are both timely and effective.

Managing the relationship with third party training providers in respect of the quality of the provision and efficiency of delivery.

Ensuring funding claims are both timely and accurate to the funding agencies.

Undertaking the role of centre manager and continually demonstrate compliance with the quality controls and expectations of the awarding organisation.

Managing the site apprentice placement programme ensuring fit for purpose transition arrangements are in place with rigorous scheduling of quality work placements.

Managing the implementation of the apprentice recruitment cycle through effective stakeholder planning and engagement

Your skills and qualifications:

Extensive experience of delivering Apprenticeship programmes within an OFSTED/ SDS regulated environment which is underpinned by expert knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks/standards, registration and certification processing, monitoring quality and audit compliance whilst retaining centre approval status

Expert level of understanding of apprenticeship delivery with proven track record of maintaining high timely and overall success rates

Team leadership and people management experience

Comprehensive knowledge of Apprenticeships, awarding body compliance procedures and Ofsted/ SDS requirements

Desirable:

Level 4 Teaching certificate or equivalent

Level 4 Leadership and Management Qualifications

Experience of Assessor & Verifier awards
