My client, an industry leading energy company, are currently searching for a Business Support Team Administrator to join their team in the isle of Grain on a 1 year contract basis
Role: Business Support Team Administrator
Location: Isle of grain
Duration: 1 Year
To support the site team by providing general administrative support being the lead person responsible for Learning & Development, Early Career Opportunities and Education Interface Planning but not excluding typing, facilitate/manage the post, hospitality, travel provision, vehicle documentation and document management for the business unit, also supporting the Exec team.
Part of the Business Support Team responsible for business management and general admin activities to support the other staff at site. Accepts responsibility for meeting Station objectives for achieving controllable costs target. Accepts challenge of organising Station events/functions/business meetings and ensure full value is obtained with no waste. Ensure that all Station correspondence/reports/minutes/communications are carefully and professional prepared to branding guidelines.
Implement best practice and compliant with Document Management Systems and ensure that all local and company management instructions are stored electronically, and previous versions archived.
Undertake secretarial and administrative support on behalf of the Exec team. Organise and plan meetings, prepare required minutes of the meetings ensuring that the minutes are approved and effectively distributed.
Main Responsibilities of role
Provision of highly flexible, professional administrative services including accommodation and travel if required
Communications with other parts of fleet portfolio
Managing meeting requests and visitor bookings to ensure that they are met by the host, logistics are in place and a professional manner is always presented
Manage the sites outward face to ensure a professional image is always displayed.
Ensure documents are updated accurately and managed in timely manner to maintain a document system that is always up to date
Key Skill Requirements:
Ability to work closely with the exec and wider management team of the site presenting a highly professional image to all who meet them.
Understanding of business needs and Procedures
Professional approach to work maintaining confidentiality/data protection/GDPR
Approachable with good effective communications skills
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft, Word, Excel and Power Point intermediate or advanced level
