A call centre manager agriculture is required by a well established agriculture and rural business throughout England and Wales. The call centre manager will have had strong call centre experience which is needed to set up a new Department for this thriving rural business. In addition to excellent call centre experience, the successful manager will need strong people management skills along with the necessary motivation and team leadership abilities. It is expected the call centre manager will provide the essential team leadership with a hands on and can do approach to motivate new team members for this essential telesales business. This is a total office-based role in modern offices in Shropshire.
In this role, the successful Call Centre Manager will be required to:
* Recruit, manage and motivate a team of tele sales personnel
* Grow and develop existing and new customer relationships
* Negotiate sales on company’s products
* Generate and follow up leads and make proactive outbound calls
* Utilise and update a computerised customer record system
* Be Self-Motivated
* Multitask and be a team player.
Excellent communication ability along with good IT/computer skills is important for the successful candidate.
An agricultural background knowledge and experience of livestock farming would be advantageous but is definitely secondary to call Centre management experience
Agriculture/animal science graduates who have had on-farm experience post-graduation, are also encouraged to apply for the tele sales roles that will become available once the Call Centre Manager is appointed.
A good salary is on offer appropriate to previous experience. Excellent basic wage, & 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
