Climate Risk Analyst – Consulting – Senior Associate

*The role *

Ideally you will have 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting, climate change or a related industry position. Within the Sustainability and Climate Change Capability Group, working with clients, your role will include:
* Consulting with clients on their climate risk and TCFD requirements;

* Synthesizing and analysing large datasets using quantitative and business modelling tools.

* Performing data analysis, including both non-financial (e.g. climate-related impacts) and financial modelling, and interpreting information gathered to identify relevant climate risks and opportunities.

* Applying approaches to climate scenario analysis for both physical and transition risks and opportunities.

* Drafting reports and presentations that convey key messages and inform strategic decision-making

*Skills and experience *
* Excellent data manipulation, analysis and visualisation skills. Knowledge in dealing with climate risk data and analytics is an advantage

* Demonstrated interest in climate change and specific knowledge in climate regulatory and reporting frameworks such as TCFD

* Good knowledge of statistics

* Experience communicating findings to non-technical audiences

* Familiarity with climate scenarios (e.g. IEA, NGFS, Shell) and transition risks associated with climate change

* University degree ideally in environmental science, engineering, economics, quantitative finance, expertise in financial (ESG) topics is a bonus
