Cook – Wyevale Garden Centre – Brighton
Hours: 39 hours per week

Our Garden Centres offer an amazing range for gardens and homes, but also a great in-house restaurant with scrumptious food and a wide cake offering. We’re now looking to recruit a Cook (known in the business as ‘Back of House Expert’) to become part of our team, delivering a fresh seasonal menu and the very best of service to all our customers.
What we’re looking for
Food preparation: You’ll be preparing a wide range of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea options, requiring basic cooking skills
Flexibility: Our restaurant is open during garden centre hours, which are typically Monday to Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sundays 1:3am – 4:3pm (No evenings, nights or split shifts required)

From January this year our terms and conditions have changed to annualised contracts, resulting in a guaranteed monthly income, with less hours worked in off peak during quieter times and the opportunity for more hours in peak times. More information on this will be given at interview.
Hourly rate of pay will differ for under 21’s. Due to the nature of the role, cooks/kitchen assistants need to be over 18.
