We have an opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 1 years Customer Service experience to join a fantastic, professional organisation that offers career progression and a great working environment in Central Milton Keynes on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The department is operational between the hours of 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. Although it is not always the case, during peak time you must be available during these times. You will work 8 hour shifts with (1 hour for lunch) per day, a total of 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor will include but are not limited to:

Take responsibility for incoming calls, emails and queries and either answer directly or refer to other departments, taking ownership until completion
Be confident to receive and respond to enquiries in other service centre areas at peak times or to provide scheduled cover
Use CRM and other appropriate systems to record enquiries
Co-ordinate cross-department communications and ensure the advisory teams are up-to-date and have relevant and appropriate information with which to support enquiries
Support the delivery of projects relevant to your department
Ensure compliance to data security, data protection and data confidentiality policies
Occasional travel to attend training and departmental/organisation events
Maintain an understanding of products and services available
In conjunction with other departments, assisting in project work when required
Make outbound courtesy calls to contact individuals in relation to services

Our Customer Service Advisor needs to have:

Ideally 12 months experience in a customer service position
Experience of managing multi-channel enquiries, phone, email, online chat and social media
Keen attention to detail ensuring high standard of written and verbal work
Exceptional customer focus
Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, and in maintaining a complex database including CRM
Organisational, planning and administrative skills
Confident and effective communication skills
Proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
