Customer Support Adviser required by our established client who is based on the outskirts of Exeter with easy access to the M5. This position is working with the New Business Team and will be responsible for handling all new applications and dealing with regular incoming calls from clients and Independent Financial Advisers across the UK. This is a key role to the team and you will be responsible for delivering a first-class customer experience and an efficient service, along with ensuring a rapport is built with clients and accurate information is provided with confidence.

Responsibilities:

* Deal with incoming phone calls and emails from customers and Financial Advisors

* Respond to queries, and input numerical data into their internal systems

* Gain a clear understanding of customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend products and solutions

* Maintain knowledge of the company’s procedures in order to supply customers with appropriate information

Requirements

* Ideally you will have worked within the financial services or insurance sector, however, this isn’t essential

* Computer literature and familiar with Microsoft office, including Outlook, Word and Excel

* Can demonstrate excellent results within a customer service environment

* A confident person who can express themselves clearly when dealing with independent financial advisers

* The ability to be able to multi-task whilst ensuring your quality of work is maintained to a high standard

* The ability to absorb and retain information about their products, procedures and systems

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a customer service environment and can demonstrate a confidence at dealing with people at all levels.
