Working as part of the Product Development team based in our site in Charnwood you will be responsible for performing routine scheduled maintenance and calibration of scientific analytical equipment. The post holder will also troubleshoot scientific analytical equipment faults/breakdowns and support the validation of new scientific analytical equipment.
As part of a busy team within a rapidly growing organisation, operating within a challenging industry you will benefit from the numerous personal and professional developmental opportunities available throughout the Almac group.
- A-Levels (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Engineering or Mathematics
- Experience of calibrating or repairing technical instruments
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)
- BSc (or equivalent) in a Science Subject or an Engineering Subject
- Experience of calibrating scientific analytical equipment
- Experience troubleshooting instrument faults
- Experience of working in a GMP/Laboratory environment
- Experience of liaising with external contractors
