Our client, a leading supplier of dental equipment who prides themselves on their professional customer service is currently looking to recruit at Financial Director level. With a respectable name within the industry, this business is growing year upon year, and therefore have an opening for a hard-working, dedicated individual who enjoys working within a fast-pace environment.

This is a brand new role of which will be passed over by the MD, as the business grows and excels within the market this client is in a position to expand their team, which is why they are looking for an exception individual with a wealth of experience that can step straight into the role and run with the expectations outlined. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really make a mark within a business, making the job role their own.

What will your working week be like?

This position will play a pivotal role for a highly experienced professional to provide finance, accounting and commercial support across the organisation; ensuring process and performance are aligned to both local and global organisational goals.

Key Duties Will Encompass:

Full accountability for a P&L
Preparing group monthly / quarterly management accounts
Consolidating Group Accounts
Preparing monthly cash flow
Production of timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports and analysis to local senior management and business accountant
Oversee all daily, weekly and monthly transactional requirements
Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis
Review and implementation of internal controls, processes and procedures
Controlling / maximising working capital
Margin analysis, process improvement and other cost reduction strategies
Production of Annual Statutory reporting and management of audit process
Management of supply chain / logistics

Who will suit this role?

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong academic pedigree
Experience of Sage 50 essential. The client does us a CRM system- Protean, therefore knowledge of this would be ideal.
Technically highly competent but with proven commercial acumen and a track record of business partnering
Track record in a business unit of a medium to large company would be a distinct advantage
Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable presenting to senior management

Hours: 8:00 – 17:00 / 8:30 – 5:30 – flexibility based on 40 hour week
