They are currently seeking a Head of Service Change (Housing) to join them on a fixed term basis for 6 months.
This role will see you being the business lead in the Access to Housing project which ensures the smooth transfer of Homelessness and Housing Register services back to Rochdale Council. You’ll also provide leadership in reviewing the remaining allocations and lettings service whilst also playing a lead role in the review of all services as a result of the transfer taking place. An inspirational leader, you’ll fully participate in corporate leadership across the society while driving cultural change and supporting transformation of services. You’ll actively support the review of services to ensure that they are aligned and support the delivery of their new emerging strategy and you’ll also lead and support the delivery of their community investment work.
Their ideal candidate will have significant experience of successfully leading and implementing complex change programmes along with excellent communication and engagement skills that will enable you to interact with business leads and external consultants to implement timely, effective solutions. A natural leader, you’ll have the ability to pre-empt and solve problems and you’ll have experience of managing budgets and allocating resources.
You should have experience of digitalising services to customers with clear evidence of improved services and value for money and you should have an understanding of project management principles and Microsoft Office 365 (including Sharepoint and Teams You’ll be self motivated and committed and you’ll have an awareness and empathy of the social issues that affect their customers.
