HR Advisor – 6 Months – Up to 25072 per annum Your new company A UK leading charity based in Ayrshire is looking for a HR Advisor with experience in employment legislation, HR processes and HR Information Systems to join their team. You will provide comprehensive Generalist HR Support to the area on a 6 months temporary contract with hybrid working. Your new role You will provide first level advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues. You will lead on recruitment ensuring recruitment administration processes meets the needs of the organisation. You will lead on maintaining and updating HR Information Systems to ensure it is used to its full potential; to provide appropriate and timely management reports. You will be responsible for co-coordinating and administering the recruitment and selection process in line with recruitment policy including: drafting and placing adverts internally & externally, updating and assisting with drafting job descriptions, arranging and contacting candidates for interviews, co-coordinating short-listing and interview score sheet feedback from panel, drafting and sending correspondence to candidates and recruitment checks. You will prepare monthly payroll data to agreed timescales and process starter and leaver administration liaising with colleagues as appropriate. You will provide efficient and proactive HR administration support. You will monitor probation process of new starters and remind managers of timescales. You will assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures whilst managing absence management, maternity administration, changes to terms & conditions. What you’ll need to succeed You will have an understanding of employment legislation, HR processes and HR Information System. You will have experience with the following: * Providing first level HR advice and support to staff and managers * Co-coordinating and administering end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including interviewing and selection tests * Preparing and checking payroll instructions * Providing effective administration across the full remit of HR tasks You will be CIPD-qualified to Certificate in Personnel Practice level or equivalent knowledge through experience.
