My client are a market leader in their industry.

Description

The HR Manager will head up the small HR function and will maintain a high performing people focused working environment. Main responsibilities will be:

* Working closely with the Board of Directors, including the CEO and key stakeholders to communicate best practice across the organisation as well as reduce any risk which may arise

* Oversee and manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, updating policies and procedures, employee relations hearings, and internal coaching and development

* Utilise their commercial expertise when in discussions with the union

* Be an integral part of the SLT in the implementation of HR projects

* Manage TUPE and/or redundancy processes in line with best practice, and carry out any necessary consultations

* Represent the company on any adhoc ET issues

* Stay updated with market data to ensure the business is staying competitive in the job market

* Manage the HR analysis and reporting to the SLT, making sure KPI’s are being met throughout the business

Profile

As well as being a strong HR generalist, you will

* have a good knowledge of UK and EU employment law

* ideally be CIPD level 5 qualified or over

* have strong negotiation skills, especially at senior level

* have previous team management skills

* have previous experience in a blue collar and multi-site environment

* have a commercial mindset

* be an assertive, confident and resilient

Job Offer

* £40,000 per annum basic salary
