International Account Manager

Role Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the global account team and deliver International advertising campaigns and Global partnerships through the planning and buying of digital media (mobile specific)
The Digital Account Manager will assist in the effective creation, development and execution of innovative Marketing strategies and tactics at an International and Local level.

Responsibilities Include:
Support the markets with their local development of the campaigns.

  • A key stakeholder for both the client and account team for media planning
  • Support the account team with the development of the media and ad tech or the digital transformation to mobile and helping supervise the operational delivery of the process
  • Understanding the nature of our clients’ business to identify market and consumer trends and opportunities, ensuring the planning process is delivered, mobilising appropriate resources from across the network to develop strategic, integrated, consumer focused solutions to the client’s business challenges
  • Combining media, market, audience, technical knowledge, data analysis and client feedback to inform the planning process
  • Media channel and publisher analysis, evaluation, selection, negotiation and implementation
  • The planning and buying of International campaigns ( partnerships and mobile campaigns)
  • Building strong relationships, and working with, other agencies (i.e. Creative, Production) to keep them updated on the latest plans
  • Media channel and Publisher analysis, evaluation, selection, negotiation and implementation
  • Managing the Senior AE and AEs in the media planning whilst working collaboratively with the Market team in deploying relevant, timely and pertinent communication

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience within a Media Agency environment, not necessarily in a Global role, but an understanding of International network guidance and input is preferred
  • A solid understanding of the mobile media environment, principles, key partners, and media owners
  • Gravitas and experience in a Planning and Buying role – specifically partnership and digital media
  • Strong technical understanding of digital media channels, especially mobile
  • Relationship builder – good at developing close working relationship with the core team, clients, media owners and partners
  • Exceptional client serving skills
  • Up to date knowledge of media owners, content owners, production agencies, research companies and other suppliers
  • A creative mindset and approach to problem solving, looking for improvements to the way things are done
  • A sociable individual who recognises the opportunity that this role presents and is driven by a long-term desire to grow and to make a contribution to the client, agency and industry
