Litron is looking for an experienced practical electrical / mechanical engineer to become a Laser Test Engineer to join our team, the applicant will be required to test laser systems in a laboratory production environment, and will be primarily responsible for optical assembly, test, characterisation, calibration and documentation of a range of high power diode laser test stations as part of production process.
Team work, high quality standards and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The Laser Test Engineer must be able to work proactively and independently.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of an HNC/HND or degree within an engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate good practical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with working with lasers would be beneficial.
