Maintenance Planner required for a family owned multi national and progressive manufacturer within the FMCG industry. This is a new role due to restructure and growth within the business. This role offers a friendly working environment, with a strong team work ethic and new opportunities as the business looks to invest in their team.
This role would suit a Planner/Engineer from any manufacturing background, such as; those with hands on experience of manufacturing maintenance with the knowledge of planning and coordinating with contractors; those with previous production or maintenance planning experience.
The role will involve liaising between the maintenance team and production team to collect all the information for what maintenance work is required across each of the production lines. With this data you will arrange and coordinate meetings with the maintenance department to ensure that jobs are being prioritised for shutdowns on each of the production lines during the panned outage window.
The site is a well established with strong history, with production lines that have had recent generous investment. Offering a substantial package and a days based role for the right candidate, with progression/development opportunities.
*Liaising between the production and maintenance team to collect data for what work is required on each of the production lines.
*Coordinate meetings to arrange the structure of PPM work on the production lines, as well as what contractors are required and parts.
*Ensure all planned maintenance has the relevant safety information, risk assessment and safe system of work.
* To carry out field checks to establish activities and resources required for the work order.
* Liaise with production and maintenance personnel to produce effective planned work.
* Prioritise work orders for scheduled shuts
* Continuously improve the BOM and EAM planning database to ensure efficient operation of the CMMS.
* Lead planning meetings for day work and shut down maintenance, both pre-shut and post-shut.
* Supervise and co-ordinate jobs during a planned shut if required.
* Ensure safe isolations and de-isolations are planned for the maintenance work.
* Ensure feedback is received and acted upon, following completion of work orders.
*Preparation and up-keep of live shut down work lists for each plant area, ensuring efficient usage of both planned and unplanned downtime.
*To maintain an accurate record of maintenance works. Up-keep of plant register, including isolation information.
*Compile and update routine inspection data sheets.
*Ensure that all work is consistent with the Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards and procedures.
*Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the EAM system.
*Maintenance or Production Planner from any manufacturing background would suit.
*Those from a manufacturing maintenance background with some commercial exposure.
*Strong organisation and communication skills.
*Basic understanding of engineering as well as ANY qualifications to support would be beneficial.
*Any previous experience of SAP or EAM Systems would be beneficial, although training can provided
