Salary: £19,000 – £21,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 17:00pm
We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Planning Co-ordinator based in Winkleigh area.
Main Responsibilities include:

  • Provide production scheduling administrative support for the Operations Manager in the scheduling of the company’s manufacturing including updating the company MRP systems and associated excel spreadsheets.
  • Organise and manage deliveries of ‘walk-in’ buildings using our fleet of HIAB equipped lorries and sub-contractors. You will need to maximise the number of buildings carried on each lorry load which may involve stacking them ‘Russian Doll’ style. You will need to plan routes to minimise driving distance and time whilst making the best use of the lorries available. Site conditions may limit the size of lorry or access.
  • Act as the link between our factories and customers to plan and agree mutually acceptable delivery dates. You will need to be aware of when buildings will be ready for delivery and when the site is ready to accept the building. Customer’s expectations will need to be managed;
  • Schedule the work of our site installation engineers for the installation of new buildings and maintenance of existing buildings. Deliveries of new buildings and attendance of the site installation engineers must be coordinated;
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer requests for site visits to maintain existing buildings;
  • Organise site surveys for new customers and interpret the results for access restrictions, etc.
  • Maintain the project/product performance database and monitor customer feedback for continuous improvements.

What we are looking for in a candidate

This is an interesting and varied position and the following attributes are desirable:

  • Excellent organisation skills;
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office products: (Especially Excel, Word and Access desirable)
  • Good communicator – you will be the face of Kingsley to our customers and will need to build a good working relationship with our major customers;
