About Our Client
The client is a leading housing association based in London. Looking after numerous properties, building new residences and seeking to relieve the pressure on the market for those who need housing the most, the organisation is a member of the G15.
Job Description
Follow all relevant regulations for procurement activity
Produce timely and accurate reports for Head of and Director of Procurement
Network with external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value for the organisation
Manage strategic relationships alongside internal ones to create efficiencies and continuously improve contracts
Report to Senior Procurement manager on all relevant topics and activities within procurement
Mitigate risk as appropriate
Maintain organisation’s contract register
Deliver contract management support
Run end to end procurement projects in line with policies and regulations, internal and external to the business
The Successful Applicant
Self starter
Ability to negotiate successfully with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong desire to drive procurement strategy
Ability to run end to end procurement activities in line with regulations and wider business objectives
Good knowledge of public sector procurement regulations
Good procurement track record
Contract management and supplier relationship management skills
Team player
