About Our Client

The client is a leading housing association in London, a member of the G15 with over 30,000 homes.

Job Description
Deliver category strategy in the area of property services
Drive best practice across the procurement department as well as wider business functions
Identify procurement opportunities across category owned (property services)
Manage supplier relationships and supplier performance and address under-performance swiftly where necessary, communicating as required with suppliers and customers alike
Responsible for managing procurement processes and ensuring that they are compliant with public regulations and internal procurement policy
Demonstrate results with associated data to report on performance and areas for improvement within procurement
Develop procurement systems to improve indirect procurement processes
Review and draft terms and conditions of contracts and advise others on form of contracts
The Successful Applicant
Track record of delivering procurement projects in indirect spend
Procurement experience in facilities management
It is desirable that they have use of JCT construction contracts but it is not essential
Working knowledge of category management strategies and how to develop category plan
Knowledge and experience of Public Contracts Regulations
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Fantastic communication skills
Excellent ability to negotiate
Ability to analyse data effectively and act upon inefficiencies discovered
