Property Maintenance Manager

*About the role*

Our client is the UK’s leading provider of innovative promotions for the forecourt, convenience & retail sector. As a Operations Support Assistant, you will be responsible for the handling of all day-to-day enquiries from web and retail customers ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered through an exceptional customer experience. There will be scope for career development, training and the experience gained for a new graduate will be highly valuable.

*Key Responsibilities will include: *

· Painting and decorating

· Fitting locks

· Basic joinery, plumbing, and electrics

· Repair of fittings and fixtures

· Removal and transport of goods

· General decorating

· Tiling

· Basic electrics (wiring sockets etc.)

· Basic plumbing (soldering, tap changes etc.)

· Basic carpentry (hanging doors fitting locks / fixing bath panels)

· Basic plastering

· Landscaping, fencing and property / garden clearance

· Re-pointing brick work

· Roofing

· General bathroom or kitchen installation

· Act as a competent person as directed and appointed

· Complete all job sheets / reports as required in a timely manner

*We are looking for individuals who are: *

· Hardworking and have a can-do attitude

· Exceptional team players with excellent communication skills

· Well presented with a friendly manner

· Able to work some weekends

A driving license and your own vehicle is essential. Ideally, you will have a van or large estate vehicle for to carry tools and materials.

*Essential Skills: *

· Previous experience within the property maintenance sector

· Good communication

· Basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, tiling, decorating and plastering etc.

· Excellent time management and organisation

· Basic numeracy and literacy

· Ability to organise and plan a job

· Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

· Be able to use your own initiative

· Full UK Driving licence

· Basic health and safety knowledge (Additional training can be provided)
