Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will spearhead the sales operation, managing a sales team of 6. Current turnover c£15M. The appointed Regional Sales Manager will utilise all of their leadership and management expertise to build on current success and exceed commercial targets.
30% of the Regional Sales Manager’s time will be front line selling. Managing key client relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth within the territory.
70% will be managing and improving the sales team performance. Encouraging and maintaining excellent levels of customer service at all times.Required Experience
Prior experience in a Senior Sales role or a Player Manager role is essential.
You must be independent, driven and organised.
Experience within a distribution or manufacturing business is desirable.
Experience managing within a similar ‘high volume’ consumable product environment would be advantageous.
You will reside within an hour’s commute of the territory.The Package
In return we offer an attractive basic starting salary along with a significant
