My client is a global engineering organisation that provides leading products and solutions to clients within a range of different industries including O&G, Aerospace, Marine, Industrial and Renewables.
Due to an extended period of growth and development, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager for Scotland.
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will possess the following responsibilities:
Supporting the implementation of a business development strategy, coordinating and managing bids in all areas
Developing and managing client relationships across the numerous industries
Ability to interpret current and future business strategies and implement bid strategies that are aligned
Support the sector bidding activity for precision engineering, fabrication and welding
Support the marketing strategy assisting with various advertising, marketing and PR requirements where needed
Support the development of appropriate operational delivery and commercial solutions
Liaise with relevant operational teams
A background in precision engineering is essential due to the nature of this role. Travel will be required.
You must also be able to manage relationships with a portfolio of clients, follow up inbound leads and self-generate leads in order to win new business.
