Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in Secondary Schools.

Vision for Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a large, dynamic Academy in Chesterfield to work on a long term basis teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 from as soon as possible until at least Easter, with the possibility of being required until the end of the Academic Year.

The role

The role is a long term sickness cover, that will be ongoing for the foreseeable future as it is currently unknown when the postholder will be returning to their role. The school are looking to welcome in an energetic and engaging supply teacher who specialises in Science to ensure the standard of learning is not compromised in this difficult time for its students.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Science Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching Science in Secondary schools, to at least GCSE level.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of specialists.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
