£68 -80 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required are GCSE’s in English and Maths with experience of working with young people in a care or educational setting.

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN school in Hull. This role will commence in January 2022 and be ongoing until at least July 2022. Although this will initially be a long term supply role through Vision for Education, the Head Teacher has indicated that permanent role may be offered to the successful candidate.

The role
Working within a skilled an experienced SEND team, the successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher in delivering specialist 1:1 support to a child with SEN. The successful applicant will expected to provide tailored support to pupils based on their own individual needs.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Hold minimum GCSE qualifications in English & Maths.
Have experience of working with young people in educational or care settings
A desire to make a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs
Be outgoing, empathetic and personable
Moving and handling training is desirable but not essential as the school can provide this training.
