The Senior Business Partner – Business Finance acts as the financial lead for the CRE/IF businesses and is responsible for 2 Finance Business Partners and an MI Analyst. This high profile role is a key support to the Commercial Directors in the successful running of the CRE and IF businesses by providing high quality financial information within a controlled environment, commercial business support and strategic and commercial insight with the appropriate level of challenge. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring that all central finance processes such as month end reporting, planning and forecasting and external reporting are fully supported in a timely manner. This is a great opportunity to drive change to identify and deliver a programme of continuous improvement in the processes, control environment, data quality, financial analysis and insight across CRE/IF finance.

Finance Accountabilities

Represent the interests of Finance as a whole at the CRE/IF SLTs by building a strong working relationship with the Business Finance Financial Control team.
Support the Head of Business Partnering – Business Finance in providing consistent high-quality support and analysis as part of the BF financial strategy
Responsible for managing and developing a team of c3 Finance Business Partners and Analysts.
Support the delivery of a Business Finance wide continuous improvement programme covering the processes, control environment, data quality and financial analysis across CRE/IF business partnering.
To provide the Central Financial Control, FP&A and Capital Management teams with the information necessary to enable monthly financial reporting and forecasting. This will include explanation of significant variance movements for inclusion in the monthly business performance, investor and board presentations.
Adhere to and comply with all company policies, procedures and regulationsThis is a leadership role within the business and in addition to technical skills requires excellent communication and influencing skills as well as significant experience and expertise in team leadership

What do we expect of you?

CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
Experienced team leader who can develop and build a strong, successful and stable finance team
Evidence of strong commercial leadership
Commercially and analytically focused in order to drive improvements
Experience of working in financial services
Experience in evaluating business performance in both a strategic and commercial context
Confident, proactive self-starter with exceptional presentational skills
Evidence of driving change throughout an organization or function
