Providing multi-disciplinary services to the property, infrastructure, energy and environmental markets, our client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy who are seeking to further expand its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team.
They are looking to speak with passionate candidates by inviting you to apply for an opening of Consultant or Senior EIA Consultant.
With your talent and knowledge of working within a variety of projects in the urban regeneration and infrastructure sectors they encourage you to drive the department forward whilst also supporting them on project sectors they are currently involved in, including large scale masterplans, mixed-use, leisure, retail, heritage-based redevelopment, infrastructure works, strategic land schemes, tall buildings, industrial & logistics facilities and port upgrades across the UK.
The work within the department is very varied and engaging, where you will get involved with:
* Day-to-day EIA project management and coordination, primarily for large-scale urban development projects.
* Attending meetings with clients, design teams, local authorities and statutory and non-statutory consultees.
* Acting as lead author and editor of environmental statements.
* Conduct desk-based research associated with projects.
* Assisting with the co-ordination of a variety of EIA and related projects.
* Preparation of relevant reports and documents to time and budget, and in line with quality requirements.
* Analysis and interpretation of relevant data and other information under guidance.
* Assisting with site surveys and other data collection from the field.
* Desk-based research associated with projects.

* Reporting upon individual utilisation (workload) and capacity.
* Managing project budgets for internal and external teams, including invoicing
* Assisting with preparing fee proposals
So, if you are:
* Educated to at least degree level in environmental science or a related subject and,
* Ideally hold 3-5 years’ consultancy experience,
* Have a demonstrable track record in managing and delivering proportionate EIA on complex sites in the UK,
* Hold membership of a relevant professional body, such as IEMA
* Have a positive and proactive approach, a keen eye for detail and the drive to be a success.
