A six month FTC with a strategic communication agency, working full time for a global architecture and design practice The role is based in the client’s busy central London office.
The successful candidate will need at least three years of busy press office experience (agency or in-house) and will be required to produce and work on high-level strategic communications plans involving the company and its various global projects.

Strategic communications experience
Experience of executing proactive and reactive strategic communications in a busy environment
Experience of working with senior colleagues, clients and stakeholders
Experience of media relations, including: development of strategic plans; working with journalists; creating news hooks and stories; press office; writing press releases; working with photographers/videographers; social media;
Experience of issues/crisis management a bonus
Triage day to day in-bound press enquiries, filtering out low quality enquiries and identifying and implementing plans for approved ones
Developing strategic plans relating to individual design launches
Developing briefing materials ahead of interviews
Ability to deputise for the Head of the Press Office and run the office in their absence
Supporting senior representatives of the company in media interviews / high profile set piece media events.
Liaising with CEO’s Executive Assistant and other senior representatives of the company to facilitate interviews/filming/media enquiries.
Support the head of Press Office in planning for major media events and launches
