Senior Procurement Specialist | Sheffield | Full-time | Permanent | £25-£28k
Your new company
You will be working in a well established public sector organisation, based within their Finance department reporting to the Head of Finance.
Your new role
You will be the centre of Procurement expertise within the organisation. You will be responsible for the management of 1 direct report and ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are met.
You will be responsible but not limited to:
*Providing advice on guidelines and regulations to the wider organisation
*Training of budget holders
*Development of Procurement strategy
*Supplier Performance Management
*Advise on spend reports/breakdowns
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have procurement experience within a public sector organisation and ideally be qualified to CIPS Advanced Certificate level. Excellent communication skills, be used to leading and working in collaborative working groups, and be able to demonstrate experience of analysing complex scenarios and recommending a course of action to others.
You will have excellent numerical ability, strong excel skills, and have experience of presenting financial information in tables and charts.
