Senior Sales Executive

Our client is one of Europe’s leading distribution companies with business interests in three main areas; Mail, Parcels and Logistics. They are an Express parcels carrier with a reputation for innovation in delivery processes dealing with the delivery of small to medium sized parcels and documents. Our client has a network of over 100 locations within the UK and employs over 600 employees.

An exciting opportunity is available for a SALES EXECUTIVE covering the AL and SG postcode territories, based at the clients busy STEVENAGE depot. You will be responsible for new business generation selling across the domestic and international products. You will generate your own leads and make appointments to follow up and close the business. With one day in the office and four on the road, you will be targeted on a weekly and monthly basis. Commission is uncapped with high rewards for exceptional performers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in new business sales, preferably within an EXPRESS PARCELS background, but the company would also be keen to see Top 5 performers from any other similar service related industries. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious as well as presentable, with good sales training and a full understanding and appreciation of the sales process. The ideal candidate must also have excellent communication skills and be able to work under their own imitative. Most importantly you must thrive on exceeding targets and looking to prove a point.
