Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership is recruiting a Team Leader for our Homeless Temporary Accommodation Allocation Team. The successful candidate will ensure the effective allocation of emergency accommodation for people presenting to Glasgow City Council as homeless. You will ensure that the team is able to respond to the competing demands from across the homelessness service. Working with a variety of agencies is essential as well as making decisions on all aspects of allocations using sound judgement. Working knowledge of the legislation and guidance of homelessness is desirable as is awareness of the complex needs of service users and an appreciation of relevant legislation and Code of Guidance. Duties will include monitoring all referrals and risk assessments, preparation of management information on the supply and demand of temporary accommodation and ensuring that allocations are made in fair and consistent manner. You will work with the Allocation and Green Wynd Co-ordinator to ensure and high degree of integration with the Homelessness Service property management function in order to ensure the effecient allocation of accommodation resources.
